Title Commitment Review After signing the acquisition Contract, the title company will prepare a Title Commitment. Review it scrupulously and call the title company with any questions. Disclosures Review Before closing, the vendor is needed to make disclosures to you the customer. These disclosures alter from 1 state to another but include any leases that could be on the property as well as other stuff the vendor knows. If there are building on the property the disclosures should also include any issues or needed repairs on the buildings. Appraisal An rating is performed by an approved valuer, who uses latest land sales, to guess the market valuation of your land.
